AUGUST 15

Waterton National Park is the Canadian portion of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
We were told that the best way to view the parks majestic landscape, was to see it from the Waterton Inter-Nation Shoreline Cruise.(1) We cruised up Waterton Lake, back into the United States, all the way to Goat Haunt in Glacier Park. The jagged glacial peaks that surround the lake are breathtaking.(2,3)
The view of the historic Prince of Wales Hotel from the water was fantastic!(4)

Oh WOW, this hotel where Paw, Meemaw, David and I stayed back in 1982!!! We had a room with a lake view!!! The weather had been LOVELY, just like your in Waterton Lake now. I stood up (left leg is US and right leg is Canada) at the International Boundry line!!! It was AMAZING!!!

#4-What a confection. Looks like it should be in Interlachen or Zermatt. In winter it probably looks even more alien. There should be a cuckoo coming out of the turret every hour.
